FIELD

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

Field is built around a simple promise: your data stays on your device. This privacy policy explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

Nothing.

Field does not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any personal data about you. We have no servers that receive your information. We do not use analytics tools. We do not include advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage. We do not know your name, your email, your location, your device identifier, or anything you do inside the app.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in Field — your habits, your daily entries, your streaks, your reminders — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's standard SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up through Apple's iCloud Backup feature, in which case it is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

If you delete the Field app from your device, all of your data is deleted with it. We cannot recover it because we never had it.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, Field uses Apple's local notification system to deliver them. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. We do not use a remote push notification service, which means no notification data is ever transmitted off your device.

In-app purchases

If you purchase Field Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. Apple handles all payment information. We never see your credit card details, billing address, or any other financial information. We only receive a verified signal from Apple that your purchase is valid, which we use to unlock Pro features on your device.

Apple's privacy policy applies to all App Store transactions and can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Children

Field is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data of any kind, we do not knowingly collect information from children, adults, or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Field handles data, we will update this policy and note the change at the top of this page. Because the current policy is "we collect nothing," any future change would be a meaningful one, and we would communicate it clearly through an app update before it took effect.
